School Cleaning Operative – Crawley RH11 8QL
Are you looking for a part-time role where you can make a real difference? We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaning Operative to help maintain a safe and welcoming environment for students and staff.
About the Role
As a Cleaning Operative, you will be responsible for:
- Keeping school facilities clean and hygienic, including classrooms, corridors, and communal areas.
- Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and polishing surfaces.
- Ensuring restrooms are cleaned and well-stocked.
- Helping to create a positive, safe space for learning.
What We Offer
- Pay: £13.23 per hour.
- Hours: 10 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 4PM – 6PM, term time + 5 additional weeks = 44 weeks per year).
- Training: Full training provided – however previous similar experience would be preferred.
- Uniform & PPE: Corporate uniform and PPE provided

- Committed to high standards of cleanliness.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Based locally in or near Crawley, with suitable transport for the school location.
Requirements
- This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check and applicants must be able to provide the necessary documentation for us to arrange this on their behalf.
