Handy Person / Estate Maintenance Assistant
Due to expansion, we have two exciting opportunities to join our friendly team at our luxury self-catering lodge park, just 20 minutes from Blairgowrie.
If you enjoy working outdoors, are practical, and like the satisfaction of seeing the results of your work, this could be the perfect role for you.
No two days are the same. You'll be responsible for helping maintain our luxury holiday accommodation and surrounding grounds to the highest standard, ensuring every guest enjoys an exceptional stay.
What you'll be doing
- General property repairs and maintenance, including basic plumbing, joinery, painting and decorating.
- Maintaining the grounds, gardens and outdoor areas across the park.
- Creating and maintaining estate tracks and pathways.
- Cutting back trees, hedges and vegetation, and carrying out woodland maintenance.
- Assisting with fencing, landscaping and other estate improvement projects.
- Carrying out routine inspections and identifying maintenance issues before they become bigger problems.
- Working alongside the rest of our small team to keep the park looking its very best.
- Taking part in an on-call rota for occasional out-of-hours maintenance issues.
About you
We're looking for someone who:
- Is practical, hands-on and enjoys a varied workload.
- Has experience in general maintenance, gardening, landscaping, estate work, farming or a similar role.
- Is happy carrying out more physical tasks and enjoys working outdoors in all seasons.
- Can work independently and use their own initiative.
- Takes pride in producing high-quality work.
- Is reliable, flexible and enjoys being part of a supportive team.
- Holds a full UK driving licence (essential).
