An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Yard Manager/FLT Driver to join our wood reprocessing company based in West Bromwich.
You will need to be able to do the following:
- Effectively control all activities undertaken in the yard
- Ensure that potential safety and health hazards are eliminated or controlled through regular review of work activities, equipment and facilities.
- Ability to lift weights of 20 - 30 kgs
- Count accurately
- Frequent bending, lifting, walking, pushing and pulling of pallets
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Knowledge of Plant and Machinery
- Hands on' Approach to work
- Dedication and commitment required
Candidates MUST hold the following:
- Valid Fork Lift Truck Licence
- Pallet Yard Experience
Basic 39 hour week
Monday – Thursday - 7am to 4pm
Friday: 7am to 3pm with the flexibility to work occasional Saturday mornings as and when required.
Hourly rate will be discussed at the interview and is based on experience.
