We are looking for 2 hardworking and reliable members of staff to join our pub team, working 15 hours per week each. Previous bartending experience is essential, and candidates must be hardworking, friendly and reliable. Availability and working hours will be discussed further at the interview. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner, ensuring excellent service throughout their visit
- Verify guest identification to ensure legal drinking age compliance
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies
- Manage cash register transactions accurately and handle payments efficiently
- Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure safety
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy hours and special events
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
- Strong serving skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing tabs accurately
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- A friendly personality with strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
