Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Hairdresser to join our vibrant team at House of Hair Chelmsford. The right candidate would need to be available to work weekends and possibly evenings.
Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of hair services including cutting, colouring, styling, and treatments with precision and creativity
- Provide a smooth and professional service while ensuring a clean and professional finish
- Deliver personalised consultations to understand client needs and recommend suitable styles, colour and treatments
- Engage in upselling of products and services to maximise client satisfaction and salon revenue
- Maintain a welcoming front desk presence by scheduling appointments, managing client flow, and ensuring a smooth salon experience
- Uphold the highest standards of hygiene, safety, and sanitation throughout all services
- Mentoring and guiding our new and up and coming stylists
Requirements
- Proven experience as a professional hairdresser
- Proficient in customer service with excellent communication skills to build lasting client relationships
- Experience in front desk duties including appointment scheduling and client management
- Ability to mentor team members effectively while maintaining a positive attitude
- Strong communication skills to clearly explain styles, products, and procedures to clients
- Passion for continuous learning about new trends, techniques, and industry innovations
Pay: £25,420.00-£35,000.00 per year
