Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management, with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and presentation
- Oversee food production processes to ensure efficiency and quality control
- Manage food safety protocols and maintain cleanliness in accordance with health regulations
- Collaborate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock rotation
- Innovate menu items and contribute to menu planning based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
- Ensure adherence to all safety procedures and operational policies within the kitchen environment
Experience
- Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, ideally within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Supervising experience with team management responsibilities
- Extensive knowledge of food production techniques, cooking methods, and presentation skills
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and regulations
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with excellent organisational skills
- Experience in food preparation, culinary arts, and restaurant operations is highly desirable
- Previous serving experience is advantageous but not essential; however, familiarity with customer service principles is beneficial
Pay: £15.00 per hour
