We are seeking a dynamic and forward-thinking Curriculum Area Leader to join our Engineering centre at a pivotal point in its development.
Based at The Engineering Centre (TEC) a specialist satellite campus that delivers apprenticeships, T levels and specialist courses. This role is to support the Director and lead high quality provision for all apprentices and students at the Centre. This will be achieved by line managing designated Lecturers, Training and Development Officers, and other staff at the Centre to ensure high performance and an exceptional learner experience. The postholder will work collaboratively with internal and external partners to improve the quality of teaching, learning and assessment, that results in apprentices and students achieving key academic and employability skills, to support them in achieving their next steps in employment or continued education. Part of this role is ensuring the centre is run smoothly, coordinating with cross college teams and proactively solving challenges.
