Job Title: CNC Folder Operator / Machine Operator
Location: Magherafelt
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Overtime: Available when required (optional)
Weekend Work: None
Role Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated CNC Folder Operator to join our team. The role involves working with CNC folding machinery and associated equipment to produce high-quality folded metal products to specification.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a CNC Jorns Folder / Press
- Use a Cut-to-Length machine
- Read and interpret technical drawings
- Programme jobs into the CNC folder
- Work with material lengths ranging from 150mm up to 6.2 metres
- Accurately read and work with measurements (mm, feet, inches, and degrees)
- Ensure all jobs are correctly labelled and organised
- Operate Forklift / Combi Lift to:
- Change coils
- Move pallets
- Handle finished materials safely
Requirements
- Experience with CNC machinery is desirable but not essential
- Engineering or manufacturing knowledge is beneficial
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
Training & Development
Full training will be provided on:
- CNC machinery
- Tools and equipment
- Forklift / Combi Lift operation (if required)
