Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality, excellent guest service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Duties
- Serve drinks and beverages to customers in a courteous and timely manner
- Take orders accurately and handle cash or card payments efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware and utensils
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards at all times
- Assist with food preparation when required, supporting kitchen staff as needed
- Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities while providing excellent guest service
- Monitor guest behaviour to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all patrons
- Restock bar supplies as necessary and manage stock levels effectively
- Engage with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere and promote repeat business
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous
- Familiarity with serving procedures, guest services, and upselling strategies will be beneficial
- Good organisational skills, including time management and multitasking abilities, are essential
- Basic maths skills are required for handling transactions accurately
- Experience working in a kitchen or culinary setting can be an asset but is not mandatory
