Here at Americold, we are recruiting for a Reach Truck Driver based at our Whitchurch site.
This role is focused on reach truck operation and general warehouse duties within a temperature‑controlled environment. You will support pallet movements, loading and unloading activities, and manual case picking as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading trucks as required
- Transferring pallets from loading bays to designated storage areas
- Operating Reach Trucks safely and efficiently
- Picking cases manually as required
- Receiving and dispatching pallets via Warehouse Management System (WMS) using handheld scanners
- Following all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Carrying out general warehouse duties, including manual handling and product handling
- Maintaining high standards of health & safety at all times
Working hours
Days – 4 on / 4 off (7am – 7pm)
Rate of Pay
£13-14 per hour, Overtime £19-21 per hour. £30 per week shift premium.
Required criteria
- Previous experience within a warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Reach Truck licence or experience
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Flexible approach and willingness to adapt
- Good communication skills
Desirable
- Experience using WMS and handheld scanners
