An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and organised Office Administration Assistant to join our busy office at Metro Rod North East.

Full training on our specialist systems and processes will be provided.
About the role
As an Office Administration Assistant, you'll be a key part of our operations team, helping to ensure our customers receive the high level of service they're accustomed to.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Answering incoming telephone calls and providing excellent customer service.
- Offering solutions to customers issues.
- Managing office emails and responding to customer enquiries.
- Logging jobs accurately onto our bespoke job management system.
- Preparing professional reports and correspondence using Microsoft Word and our internal systems.
- Scheduling engineers' diaries and assisting with daily planning.
- Supporting customers, engineers and colleagues to ensure jobs run smoothly.
- Undertaking a variety of general administrative duties to support the office.
What we're looking for
We're looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, confident and professional.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- An excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office, particularly Word.
- Able to manage a varied workload and prioritise effectively.
- Reliable, positive and enjoys working as part of a team.
Essential Requirements:
- GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
- Excellent telephone manner.
- Strong written communication skills, including report and letter writing.
Additional responsibilities
Once fully trained, you'll become part of our out-of-hours emergency call rota, taking customer calls on a shared basis with other members of the team.
