An opportunity has arisen for a Trade Counter Sales Assistant at a long established electrical wholesale business in Bournemouth.
Trade counter experience would be beneficial and experience working in the electrical field would be a great advantage.
Your role and responsibilities will include:
- Serving trade customers and the public at the trade counter
- Handling incoming telephone calls
- Assisting with the processing of orders
- Sourcing products with our Suppliers
- Ensuring the warehouse stock is kept at expected levels
- Receiving stock from our Suppliers and replenish warehouse
- Managing relationships with our customers
Heavy manual lifting is sometimes required and therefore applicants should bear this in mind when applying.
It is essential that you are able to work as part of a team and can communicate effectively with colleagues, customers and suppliers.
Ability to drive, along with a clean driving license would also be an advantage.
Salary will be negotiable based on experience and you will also be eligible to join the pension scheme once you have completed your probationary period.
Hours - Monday to Friday and Saturdays 8.00 to 12.30.
Holidays - 28 days per annum (including Bank Holidays).
