Solihull Daycare is looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly and supportive nursery team. We are passionate about providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where every child can thrive, learn, and develop.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about early years education and committed to delivering outstanding childcare in line with the EYFS framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0–5 years
- Plan and deliver engaging activities that support children’s learning and development
- Observe, assess, and record children’s progress
- Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children at all times
- Support children’s emotional, social, and physical development
- Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating learning environment
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies and procedures
Requirements
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare/Early Years (or equivalent)
- Good knowledge of the EYFS framework
- Previous nursery or childcare experience preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A positive, caring, and professional attitude
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
