Responsible for shaping the future capabilities, governance framework, and sustainability agenda of Global Procurement.
The role partners with the CPO, Procurement Leadership Team, HR, and business stakeholders to strengthen procurement maturity, enable organizational effectiveness, develop future talent, and drive sustainable procurement practices.
The position serves as a key transformation leader supporting the long-term evolution of the Procurement function.
Key Accountabilities
Procurement Governance
Own the Procurement Governance Framework, including policies, procedures, standards, and decision-making processes.
Ensure governance remains effective, scalable, and aligned with business and regulatory requirements.
Drive continuous improvement of procurement controls and compliance processes.
ESG & Sustainable Procurement
Define and execute the Procurement ESG roadmap.
Partner with sourcing and category teams to embed ESG principles into procurement activities.
Monitor ESG performance and reporting.
Capability & Talent Development
Establish and lead the Global Procurement Academy.
Define capability frameworks, learning pathways, and development programs.
Partner with HR and Procurement Leadership on talent and succession strategies.
Change & Transformation
Lead capability-building and organizational transformation initiatives.
Drive adoption of new processes, tools, and operating models.
Develop communication and stakeholder engagement strategies.
Drive effective communication, engagement, and alignment across Procurement and key business stakeholders.
Performance & Value Governance
Own procurement savings governance and reporting methodology.
Support executive reporting and performance transparency.
Partner with analytics teams to enhance procurement insights and decision-making.
Leadership Expectations
Lead through influence rather than direct authority.
Build strong stakeholder relationships across Procurement, Finance, Shared Services, HR, and the Business.
Act as a trusted advisor to the Procurement Leadership Team.
Drive change and deliver results in a complex global environment.
Balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or related discipline is required.
- Postgraduate qualifications or certifications in procurement operations, governance, or process improvement (e.g., Lean Six Sigma) are desirable
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in procurement operations, shared services, or governance roles.
- Proven success in managing procurement execution teams and driving operational performance.
- Strong background in compliance, process improvement, and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and shared service environments.
