This is a fantastic opportunity to help visitors experience Jura at its very best, from welcoming guests and hosting tastings to sharing the story, spirit and character behind one of Scotland’s most distinctive whisky brands.

What the opportunity looks like:
As a Brand Home Guide, you’ll help create outstanding experiences for every guest who visits Jura Distillery. You’ll be part of a welcoming team responsible for delivering tours and tastings, supporting the shop, assisting with the Jura Lodge and making sure each visitor leaves with a memorable impression of Jura.
This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same. One moment you could be greeting visitors and helping them choose the perfect bottle in the shop, and the next you could be leading an engaging tour that brings our whisky, history and island story to life.
You’ll play an important role in making every visit feel personal, authentic and memorable.
What you’ll be doing
Welcoming guests in a warm, friendly and professional way
Delivering a high standard of customer service at every stage of the visitor experience
Hosting engaging and authentic distillery tours and tastings
Sharing the story of Jura — our heritage, process, products and people
Supporting visitors in the shop and helping them find the right products
Setting up and clearing down tastings and visitor areas
Cleaning glassware and maintaining high presentation standards across the Brand Home
Supporting with the smooth running of the Jura Lodge
Taking pride in representing Jura Distillery and Jura Whisky

We’re looking for people who enjoy working with others and take pride in delivering a great experience. You don’t need to have done this exact role before, if you’re friendly, dependable and excited by the chance to work in a visitor-facing environment, we’d love to hear from you.
You might be a great fit if you have:
A passion for customer service and creating positive experiences
Confidence speaking to and engaging with people
The ability to share information in an interesting and authentic way
A warm, approachable and professional style
Previous experience in retail, hospitality, tourism or customer service (helpful, but not essential)
Experience working with the public (preferred)
Previous cleaning experience, including safe use of cleaning products or equipment (desirable)
Most importantly, we’re looking for people with enthusiasm, energy and a genuine passion for giving guests a fantastic Jura experience.
