Head Chef / Senior Sous Chef – Authentic British Restaurant in Italy

Smith's British is seeking an experienced British chef to lead our kitchen and help develop the next chapter of what is believed to be Italy's only dedicated British restaurant.
For over 7 years we have been serving authentic British food to a loyal Italian and international clientele. We are now looking for a chef who understands British cuisine and wants the opportunity to live and work in Italy.

About the role
You will be responsible for:
- Leading daily kitchen operations
- Maintaining high standards of food quality and consistency
- Training and developing the kitchen team
- Managing food ordering and stock control
- Contributing new menu ideas and seasonal specials
- Preserving and improving the authenticity of our British food offering

We're looking for someone who
- Has experience as a Head Chef or strong Sous Chef
- Understands traditional British cooking
- Has worked in quality restaurants, gastro pubs or hotels
- Is organised and able to lead a small team
- Enjoys developing menus and seasonal specials
- Would like a long-term opportunity in Italy
