Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organised and professional Post Office and Store Administrator to support daily operations at our store branch. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing postal services, store administration, and providing excellent customer service. This role offers an opportunity to utilise a range of administrative skills within a busy environment, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
Duties
- Manage postal transactions, including mailing, parcel handling, and related services
- Maintain accurate records of transactions using computerised systems such as Xero and Microsoft Office programmes
- Assist customers with enquiries, sales, and store-related services
- Perform data entry tasks with high accuracy, including updating customer information and stock levels
- Organise store stock levels, organise deliveries, and coordinate inventory management
- Support administrative functions such as scheduling appointments and managing paperwork
Experience
- Proven office experience with familiarity in administrative roles
- Competent in computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Google Workspace, and Xero
- Previous clerical experience involving data entry and record keeping
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in retail or postal services is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for specific systems used in-store
