Responsibilities
- Monitor entry and exit points to verify identities and control access for staff, visitors, and contractors.
- Implement loss prevention strategies by observing suspicious behavior and preventing theft or vandalism.
- Provide first aid assistance when necessary, ensuring prompt response to minor injuries or medical emergencies.
- Maintain a visible presence to deter unwanted behavior and uphold safety protocols throughout the venue or site.
- Record incidents accurately through detailed reports and communicate effectively with emergency responders if required.
- Perform routine safety checks of the premises, including surveillance equipment, exits, and emergency procedures.
Qualifications
- Valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) license as a Door Supervisor or Safety Steward.
- Knowledge of loss prevention methods and security best practices.
- First aid certification or willingness to obtain training upon hiring.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert during long shifts.
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with diverse individuals.
- Ability to handle challenging situations calmly and decisively while maintaining a positive attitude.
