Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Vehicle Service/After-Sales Manager to lead our service department with enthusiasm and expertise. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of both Car/Vans vehicle maintenance, repairs, and after-sales support, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the service team to deliver outstanding vehicle maintenance and repair services, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Oversee daily service operations, including scheduling, workflow management, and quality control to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Identify opportunities for upselling additional services or accessories that meet customer needs while enhancing revenue.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of vehicle mechanical systems to provide accurate advice and support to both team members and customers.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including invoicing, payments, and financial record keeping related to service sales.
- Develop and implement customer service strategies that foster loyalty, trust, and positive feedback from clients.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and industry regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in automotive service management or a similar role with demonstrated leadership skills.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of various vehicle systems and repair procedures.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with clients.
- Experience in upselling services or products to enhance customer value and increase revenue streams.
- Proficiency in cash handling, invoicing, and financial documentation related to service transactions.
- Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining a positive work environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications or automotive qualifications are preferred.
