Boothen is an expanding collection and delivery company, which has been trading for 10 years based in Riddings, Derbyshire. Our primary focus is the collection and delivery of window blinds and shutters
The company has experienced continued rapid growth since its launch and we now have the opportunity for someone to join the team as delivery and collection driver. We aim to be the employer of choice in the area through providing a clear and fair employment package.
This position is the “face” of the company therefore it is vital that the successful applicant demonstrates the right behaviours and represents the company in a professional manner.
The person applying for this role must be able to demonstrate:
- Flexibility
- Attention to detail
- A clear understanding of the importance of compliance in the workplace.
- Customer focused approach.
- Trained in using a scanning device
- Able to comfortably lift parcels weighing upto 20kg
Although this role does involve what is referred to as “multi drop” it is not your typical multi drop as there is between 25 and 35 deliveries each day.
Applicants will need to enjoy driving as our drivers do perform between 150 and 180 miles per day.
Typical day is 0730 until 1730hrs, Mon to Fri
Applicants should have no more than 3 penalty points on their licence. A trial period will apply.
