About the role:
Our donors are at the heart of everything we do, and we are looking for a Senior Corporate Partnerships Officer to join our team and help us build genuine, lasting connections with our supporters.
As a Senior Corporate Partnerships Officer, no day will be the same. You will be the primary point of contact for our supporters, providing the high-level care, advice, and encouragement that inspires them to champion our cause. You will take a lead role in developing working relationships with our corporate partners and you will also play a vital role in raising awareness, by delivering compelling talks and building relationships that create enthusiasm for supporting Porchlight’s clients.
Working closely with the Relationship Manager, you will act as a spokesperson for our mission, turning engagement into action. Whether you are leading large-scale projects, mentoring colleagues, or managing volunteer speakers, your work will directly empower our supporters to help us change lives.
You will be based at our Canterbury office (with a required attendance of every Tuesday to collaborate with the team) but will have the flexibility to work from home on other days, around business need, in line with our hybrid working policy.
This role will require travel across the county for in person meeting.
Your key responsibilities will include:
-
Public Speaking: Delivering compelling talks and representing Porchlight at functions and cheque presentations to raise awareness and drive fundraising activity.
-
Building Partnerships: Developing relationships with businesses across Kent and Medway.
-
Corporate Responsibility: Supporting businesses to develop meaningful corporate responsibility activity that aligns with Porchlight’s mission and creates positive impact for people facing homelessness, poor mental health, and poverty.
-
Project Leadership: Taking ownership of large-scale, corporate partnerships supporting fundraising initiatives.
-
Impact Reporting: Using the Raiser’s Edge database to track progress against KPIs, manage donor data hygiene, and ensure every supporter is thanked personally.
-
Practical Requirements: You must have a full driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
Porchlight is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and adults at risk.
Working pattern: 22.5 hours, to be agreed upon appointment, with a requirement to work on Tuesdays.
Location type: Canterbury - with opportunities to work from home.
Contract type: Permanent
Interview date: 4th August 2026
Please note, salaries are pro-rata for part-time positions.
