We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our growing team as a Trainee/Junior Block Manager. Role Overview:
As a Trainee/Junior Block Manager, you will assist in the management and maintenance of residential and commercial properties, working closely with senior managers to ensure that properties are well-maintained, compliant, and managed efficiently. This is a great entry-level role that will allow you to gain hands-on experience and develop your skills in the property management sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the day-to-day management of a portfolio of properties.
- Liaise with tenants, leaseholders, and contractors to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.
- Help coordinate maintenance and repair works, ensuring properties are well-kept and comply with safety regulations.
- Assist with managing service charge budgets and financial records for properties.
- Monitor and report on property performance, helping senior managers identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and company policies.
- Handle administrative tasks such as preparing reports, managing tenant communications, and assisting with property inspections.
Skills and Experience:
- A genuine interest in property management and the real estate industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A high level of organisation and attention to detail.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
- Basic IT skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Previous experience in property management is beneficial but not essential.
- A full UK driving license is preferred, as some travel may be required.
