We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Milkman to join our team. We have multiple positions available, the shifts are;
Sunday night, Monday night, Wednesday night, Thursday night.
Start time from 6pm- 4x 12 hour shifts
The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering fresh milk and dairy products to our customers in a timely and efficient manner. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service, as well as the ability to manage deliveries while ensuring the highest standards of product quality. The working shift begins picking up the delivery vehicle at the depot and loading it with products, delivering your set route of customers finishing Deliveries around 7am before heading back to the depot.
This is a physically demanding role working outside in all weather. Candidates must hold a full UK driving license as the job entails driving a 3.5T vehicle.
Salary Starts at £32, 600 gross and can be between £34,000 and £40,000 with Bonuses
Responsibilities
- Deliver milk and dairy products to residential and commercial customers on a designated route.
- Operate a delivery van safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic regulations.
- Load and unload products, ensuring that deliveries are made in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with customer service team to address any questions or concerns regarding customer orders.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and inventory levels.
- Perform heavy lifting as required when loading and unloading products.
Requirements
- Commercial driving experience is preferred
- Ability to perform heavy lifting, as the role involves handling large crates of milk and dairy products.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or delivery driver role is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with team members.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and customer service excellence.
- Flexibility to work required by delivery schedules.
