Trainee / Maintenance Planner

About Us
Evolution Construction Group is a growing construction and maintenance business delivering responsive repairs, planned maintenance, compliance and refurbishment works across the North West.
Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a Trainee or Experanced Maintenance Planner to join our Maintenance Team.
Reporting to the Head of Maintenance and working alongside our existing planners, you will play a key role in coordinating repairs, maintenance works and customer appointments across our contracts.
This position is suitable for both candidates looking to start a career in planning and experienced planners seeking a new opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
- Scheduling repairs, maintenance appointments and planned works.
- Liaising with customers, tenants, operatives and supervisors.
- Allocating work to operatives and monitoring progress.
- Updating job management systems and maintaining accurate records.
- Managing incoming enquiries and appointment requests.
- Assisting with resource planning and workload management.
- Supporting the delivery of contractual performance targets.
- Working closely with the wider maintenance team to ensure excellent customer service.
Essential Skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Ability to prioritise workload and work under pressure.
- Professional and positive attitude.
- Good attention to detail.
- Desire to learn and develop within the role.
Desirable Experience
Applications from experienced planners are welcomed; however, full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Experience in any of the following would be beneficial:
- Repairs or maintenance planning.
- Social housing.
- Construction or property maintenance.
- Scheduling or coordination roles.
- Customer service or call centre environments.
- Administration roles.
- Joblogic experience.
- Using scheduling or workforce management software.

Pay: £26,065.14-£32,000.00 per year
