Self-Employed Refurbishment Labourer / General Builder
Milne Installations – Mid Wales / Shropshire Borders
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking self-employed labourer to work alongside our team on kitchen, bathroom and general refurbishment projects.
The role would suit someone with some experience in the building or refurbishment industry who is happy to get involved in a variety of work. We are particularly looking for someone who can provide an extra pair of hands on larger projects and regular rip-out days.
Typical work will include:
Kitchen and bathroom rip-outs
General demolition and strip-out work
Moving and loading materials and waste
Site protection and preparation
Mixing materials and assisting trades
General building and refurbishment assistance
Basic assistance with carpentry, plastering and tiling where appropriate
Keeping the site clean and organised
You do not need your own van. The team will meet at our yard and travel to site in company vehicles, so reliable transport to the yard is required.
The ideal person will be:
Reliable and punctual
Hardworking and physically capable
Experienced in building, refurbishment or general labouring
Able to work as part of a small team
Able to use basic hand tools
Willing to get involved and take pride in leaving a tidy, well-organised site
Pay: £120–£140 per day depending on experience.
