Cover4 Account Handler (New Business Team)
This is a full-time role with working hours of 09:00-17:15 (with 1 unpaid hour for lunch), Monday to Friday.
Minimum grade D/3 in GCSE (or equivalent) Maths & English Language is required. Insurance experience is preferred but not essential as we will provide full training.

JOB PURPOSE
To help the business provide an excellent service to existing and potential new clients providing advice, guidance and support on a daily basis under the supervision of your team leader.
Main duties:
- Uphold the Core Values of the Company at all times
- Respond to enquiries received in a courteous, confident and helpful manner
- Work as an effective member of the team
- Work within Cover4 service standards
- Refer cases to your line manager where they are beyond your competency level or ability
- Control your own diary system ensuring all items are followed up by the due dates
- Ensure full notes of conversations and actions are made on the diary system of all contact with customers and other third parties
- Obtain quotations using the quotation system or by referring the case to an authorised person for the following class(es) of insurance business:
- Touring Caravan insurance
- Static Caravan insurance
- Residential Let property
- Unoccupied property
- Communicate quotations, advising the most appropriate in terms of price and cover to meet the customer’s needs
- If accepted, ensure that written confirmation is issued providing full details of cover, the appropriate statement of fact, policy schedule, policy wording and other documentation required to comply with FCA regulation
- Check that all documentation is accurate, complete and sent in a reasonable timescale
- Administer any mid-term adjustments
- Any other duties that may be required by your line manager in accordance with the nature of this job
