Job Overview
We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Production Operatives to join our manufacturing team. This role involves working within a fast-paced factory environment, supporting various stages of production to ensure quality and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing settings, possess mechanical aptitude, and be comfortable working with hand tools and power tools. Previous warehouse or assembly line experience is highly advantageous. Duties
- Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment on the assembly line to ensure smooth production flow
- Use hand tools and power tools for assembly, maintenance, and adjustments of machinery or components
- Assist with the setup, changeover, and troubleshooting of production lines
- Conduct quality checks throughout the production process to maintain product standards
- Load and unload materials using forklifts or manual handling techniques as needed
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety standards
- Support warehouse activities including inventory management and stock movement when required
- Follow safety protocols diligently to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in manufacturing, factory work, or warehouse environments is preferred, but not essential.
- Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with assembly processes is highly desirable
- Experience working on an assembly line or in a production setting is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
- Ability to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced environment
- Good physical stamina with the ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as necessary
- Basic understanding of safety procedures related to manufacturing operations
