We’re looking for a reliable, hands-on person to join our team working with wooden fence panels.
If you’ve worked in a fencing or timber yard before, know your way around a busy working environment, and have experience making fence panels, we’d like to hear from you.
A valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence is essential for this role.
What you’ll be doing
- Making and assembling wooden fence panels
- Preparing and handling timber for production
- Checking finished panels and making sure they’re ready to go
- Moving and stacking panels safely around the yard
- Using a counterbalance forklift to move materials and finished products
- Loading and unloading deliveries and customer vehicles
- Keeping the yard and working areas tidy and safe
- Helping with general yard and production work when needed
What we’re looking for
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence – essential
- Previous forklift experience
- Experience making wooden fence panels is a big advantage
- Experience working with timber or fencing products would be beneficial
- A good work ethic and a hands-on approach
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable working outdoors and carrying out physical work
- Able to work well as part of a team
