Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items with consistency, attention to detail, and flair, ensuring high standards of presentation and taste
- Assist in the daily kitchen operations, including food prep, plating, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the workspace
- Follow all food safety protocols and hygiene standards to ensure a safe dining environment for guests and staff
- Collaborate with team members to meet service times and deliver exceptional customer experiences
- Support the training of junior kitchen staff and contribute ideas for menu development and improvements
- Manage inventory levels, monitor ingredient freshness, and communicate supply needs proactively
- Maintain a positive attitude while working efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a busy restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, meal preparation, and food safety regulations
- Excellent kitchen experience with the ability to work under pressure while maintaining quality standards
- Familiarity with restaurant operations, serving procedures, and customer service expectations
- Ability to follow recipes precisely and adapt to special dietary requirements when needed
