The Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Dairy Herd Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day management of our dairy herd and associated operations. You will lead milking routines, herd health and staff supervision. Working alongside the Farm Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Full responsibility for daily herd management, including milking routines and animal welfare.
- Manage herd health, oversee calving cows and transition cow.
- Collaboration with vet during routine visit. Assisting with weekly foot trimming
- Supervise and develop farm staff to maintain high performance and standards.
- Ensure accurate record keeping for production, breeding and health.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory and industry standards for health and safety.

Skills & Experience (Essential):
- Leadership capability and working as part of a team.
- Passion for animal health & welfare.
Pay: £45,000.00-£48,000.00 per year
