Kids Corner Day Nursery is a warm, nurturing, and child-centred early years setting dedicated to providing outstanding care and learning opportunities. We are looking for a passionate and motivated Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly team and help us continue delivering high-quality early years education.
Responsibilities
- Support the planning, implementation, and evaluation of engaging, age-appropriate activities.
- Provide a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for all children.
- Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Observe and assess children’s development in line with the EYFS framework.
- Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health, and safety.
- Work effectively as part of a team to create a welcoming, inclusive environment.
Requirements
- Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare Qualification (or working towards).
- Experience in an early years setting (preferred but not essential).
- A genuine passion for working with young children.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of the EYFS framework.
- An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
- We are a 7-6pm setting, and our staff are required to work 7-5.30pm & 7.30-6pm 3-4 days a week. we can also offer shift patterns of 7-12 / 12-6pm daily.
