The Commercial Finance Analyst is a newly created role designed to support the Commercial team in delivering ambitious growth targets. Reporting to the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), you will build financial models and analysis that underpin budgeting, forecasting and mid‑term strategic planning. Working across all revenue lines - Aviation, Retail, Car Parking and Real Estate - you will turn complex data into clear insights that guide senior commercial decision‑making. This highly analytical role requires someone who can translate complex datasets into concise, actionable conclusions, helping shape commercial strategy and drive value across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial modelling — Build complex financial models to support budgets and 5‑year business plans.
- Data storytelling — Translate complex datasets into clear, compelling storylines for senior leaders.
- Budget support — Partner with Heads of Department to build models, integrate data and challenge assumptions.
- Insight generation — Provide analysis that highlights trends and commercial performance drivers.
- Risk & opportunity tracking — Build a monthly tracker to support forward‑look revenue performance.
- Business case analysis — Support strategic cases (retail units, car parks, real estate) with financial modelling and sensitivities.
Experience Required (Essential)
- Financial planning experience — 8+ years in financial or business planning, ideally within Commercial or FP&A.
- Relevant degree — Finance, Accounting or Economics.
- Data presentation — Proven ability to present complex datasets clearly and concisely.
- Business partnering — Experience working with multiple stakeholders and complex budgets.
- Senior stakeholder engagement — Comfortable presenting to ExCo and senior management.
- Analytical capability — Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to simplify complexity.
Desirable Experience
- Transport sector — Experience within aviation, transport or related sectors.
- FMCG exposure — Background in fast‑moving consumer goods.
