We are looking for Section Manager to join our project delivery team. Reporting to the Site Manager. You will working on a Major voids project within the Wolverhampton area with an annual turnover of £6million.
- Manage a specific section of works from planning through to completion.
- Ensure health & safety is promoted throughout the sites
- Oversea variations on orders
- Ensure activities are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Monitor performance against project plans and take corrective action where required.
- Maintain accurate site records, including daily diaries, labour returns, QA documentation, and progress reports.
- Participate in site meetings with subcontractors and key stakeholders.
- Monitor costs and support effective budget control within your area of responsibility.
- Strong understanding of construction health and safety legislation and site management practices.
- Strong understanding and an all round knowledge on the Build processes within VOIDS
- Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating construction activities on site.
- Knowledge of quality assurance processes and construction best practice.
- Comfortable with travelling between sites
- Valid CSCS Card.
- Relevant construction management qualifications would be advantageous.
