Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and passionate Pilates Instructor to join our dynamic wellness team! In this role, you will lead engaging Pilates classes designed to improve flexibility, strength, and overall well-being for participants of all fitness levels. Duties
- Lead group mat and reform Pilates classes with clear instructions, demonstrations, and modifications to accommodate various skill levels
- Develop customized workout plans that focus on core strength, flexibility, posture alignment, and injury prevention
- Monitor participants during sessions to ensure proper technique and safety, providing individual guidance as needed
- Educate clients on anatomy principles relevant to Pilates movements to enhance understanding and effectiveness
- Maintain a clean, organised studio environment, ensuring equipment is sanitized and ready for use
- Track client progress and provide feedback to support their ongoing fitness journey
- Stay updated on the latest Pilates techniques and industry best practices through continuous learning
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sports coaching or fitness instruction, preferably with Pilates or similar modalities
- Strong teaching skills with the ability to motivate and engage diverse groups of participants
- Knowledge of human anatomy, biomechanics, and movement principles essential for safe instruction
- Excellent communication skills to clearly demonstrate exercises and provide constructive feedback
- Certification in Pilates instruction or related fitness qualifications is highly desirable
- Prior experience working with clients of varying ages and fitness levels is a plus
