With this vacancy you will have the opportunity to work alongside Michael Caines and his team at Lympstone Manor.
You will learn how to prepare and carry out basic cooking tasks. The primary objective of the Commis Chef Apprenticeship is to learn and understand how to carry out basic functions within each of the sections of the kitchen. This is a perfect route for a new trainee in the kitchen who wishes to gain a nationally recognised professional chef qualification.
List of duties:
- Prepare, cook and finish food items inline with legislation and by following brand standards and recipe specifications ·
- Clean and maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen environment including preparation, cooking and storage areas
- Use specialist kitchen equipment

Complete H & S training in line with job role

Understand the impact of seasonality on the available produce

Apprentices will be working towards achievement of the following:
- Certification of Commis Chef Apprenticeship standard Level 2
