Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) has an exciting opportunity for an Underwriter to join our Marine team in London. The successful candidate will work closely with the Senior Underwriters in the team and will perform tasks to directly support the underwriting process including pre-quote, pre-bind, bind and post bind transactions. The Underwriter will also perform additional underwriting support activities associated with information gathering and rating for new business, renewals and midterm changes. Extensive ‘in-place’ training will be given by the Senior Underwriters, which will provide the candidate with strong knowledge of the London Marine and Cargo insurance market, enabling them to grow and develop in this exciting line of business.
