Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar/Waiting Staff to join our vibrant hospitality team. This is a part time position with various shifts available and would suit a second job for the right person.

Duties
- Welcome guests warmly and ensure they feel comfortable from arrival to departure
- Take accurate orders and serve food and beverages efficiently and courteously
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the service area, including tables, counters, and bar stations
- Handle payments accurately using the POS system and process transactions promptly
- Assist with food preparation tasks where necessary, ensuring food safety standards are upheld
- Upsell menu items to maximise sales opportunities while providing honest recommendations
- Ensure guest satisfaction by responding promptly to queries or special requests
- Support colleagues during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow
- Adhere strictly to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is desirable but not essential
- Strong knowledge of food safety procedures and best practices in food handling and preparation
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly, professional attitude
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently
- Basic maths skills for handling bills and transactions accurately
- Ability to work well under pressure during busy service periods
- Time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices is a plus
- Upselling skills combined with excellent communication abilities to enhance guest experience
