We are looking for dedicated, resilient, and positive Female Personal Assistants to provide high-quality support to a lady in her 20s. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in an individual's life by fostering positive engagement, actively participating in structured daily activities, and supporting a positive approach.
Working Hours
● Shifts are 8am-8pm
● Only bank positions are available with the possibility of a permanent full time role in the future. The hourly rate will be increased to include the paid leave as per legislation for bank staff :
- Basic Rate: £14.62
- +12.07% Holiday Pay: +£1.76
- Total Day Rate: £16.38 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in the person's home
- Be comfortable with doing personal care when needed.
- Confidence with domestic duties such as cooking / cleaning is required.
- Effectively manage and respond to challenging and complex behaviours.
- Communicate effectively with the family who run the care package
Essential Requirements
● Gender: Due to the nature of the role, this position is open to female applicants only
● Age/Residency: Must be over 18 years old and a UK resident (we do not offer sponsorship).
● Experience: Previous experience as a PA is not required but you must have a good understanding of managing challenging behaviours and working with adults who have a lower cognitive age.
● Communication: Excellent communication skills in English to effectively interact with the young person and team members
● Smoking: Non-smoker/vaper.
