We are looking for a Prep & Welding Operative to become part of our experienced production team manufacturing high-quality PVC-U windows and doors.
The role involves preparing PVC-U profiles, fitting reinforcing to customer specifications and operating welding machinery to produce accurately manufactured products.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing PVC-U profiles ready for manufacture
- Applying reinforcing to customer specifications
- Operating PVC-U welding machines
- Inspecting products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Maintaining a safe and organised work area
- Supporting production targets and delivery deadlines
What We're Looking For
- Previous welding or manufacturing experience is preferred but not essential
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to follow technical instructions
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
- Full training provided
