As a Qualified Senior Dental Nurse, you will play a crucial role in supporting our dental team, ensuring the smooth running of clinical sessions and maintaining the highest standards of patient care. - Assist dentists during a wide range of dental procedures, including complex treatments.
- Prepare and maintain clinical environments, ensuring all equipment is sterilised and ready for use.
- Manage patient care with empathy and professionalism, providing reassurance and clear communication.
- Support the training and mentoring of junior dental nursing staff.
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with administrative duties related to clinical care.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations, infection control protocols, and confidentiality requirements.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of practice procedures and patient care standards.
- Qualified Dental Nurse with current registration with the General Dental Council (GDC).
- Proven experience as a Senior Dental Nurse within general dental practice or specialist settings.
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures, infection control, and clinical governance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
