We are looking for an experienced Workshop Manager / Senior Repair Technician to lead our busy Worthing store.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, managing workflow and helping customers while developing their career within an established independent business.
Responsibilities
- Managing the day-to-day operation of the workshop.
- Booking in customer repairs and providing clear, professional advice.
- Diagnosing and repairing laptops, desktop PCs, Macs, phones and tablets.
- Prioritising and managing repair workflow to ensure excellent turnaround times.
- Supporting and supervising junior technicians.
- Maintaining high standards of customer service both in store and over the telephone.
- Ordering parts and monitoring repair progress.
- Ensuring repairs are completed to the highest standard.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has at least 2 years' experience in a repair workshop, electronics repair or technical retail environment.
- Has excellent diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
- Can work calmly under pressure and manage multiple repairs simultaneously.
- Has strong communication and customer service skills.
- Is organised, reliable and able to use their own initiative.
- Enjoys helping others and leading by example.
Experience repairing Apple devices, Windows PCs and board-level diagnostics would be an advantage, although training can be provided for the right candidate.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £26,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
