Join our Family and Community Learning Service as a Training Advisor and play a vital role in transforming lives across Wiltshire. This is a dynamic, front-facing position where you will work closely with the Business Development Manager to engage disadvantaged and hard-to-reach groups, ensuring they can access meaningful learning opportunities. You will build strong partnerships with schools, community organisations and employers, promoting courses, increasing learner participation and supporting the growth and sustainability of the service.
The Family and Community Learning team delivers high-quality, online and face-to-face learning programmes across Wiltshire, working with partners to support local communities. Funded through national grants, the team provides targeted skills and learning in community settings, aligning with council priorities, employer needs, and maintaining strong standards set by funding bodies and Ofsted.
This role sits right at the heart of the learner journey, from initial engagement and eligibility checks through to supporting tailored learning experiences that overcome barriers and maximise success. Alongside relationship-building, you will represent the service at events, contribute to marketing and outreach activity, and identify new opportunities to expand provision. Your work will also include analysing learner feedback, maintaining high-quality data and reporting, and ensuring compliance with funding requirements and quality standards, including Ofsted and ASF expectations.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone proactive, confident, and passionate about community impact, with strong communication and organisational skills and a drive to deliver excellent customer experiences. If you’re ready to connect communities with opportunity and make a real difference every day, we’d love to hear from you.
