Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools
- Perform repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and other vehicle components
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete repairs accurately
- Conduct routine inspections to identify potential problems before they escalate
- Assist with heavy lifting and equipment repair tasks safely and efficiently
- Maintain detailed records of all work performed and parts used
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret schematics and technical diagrams
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques
- Experience with vehicle maintenance, equipment repair, and general troubleshooting
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely as part of routine tasks
- Excellent customer service skills with clear communication abilities
