Work base: Primarily Venue Cymru, with occasional work at Theatr Colwyn and Porth Eirias
Venue Cymru is recruiting a part-time Cleaner to support one of the region's busiest arts, events and conference venues. The role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness and recycling throughout the building before, during and after events.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out cleaning duties across all areas of the venue.
- Complete recycling and waste management tasks.
- Ensure facilities are clean and presentable before, during and after events.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and attention to detail.
Essential Requirements
- Thorough and reliable approach to cleaning.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow cleaning standards.
- Ability to communicate in English
Hours and Contract
- Permanent, part-time position.
- Annualised hours contract.
- Average of 16 hours per week.
- Shift rota system, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays
Working Environment
- Busy arts, theatre, conference and events venue.
- Opportunity to work around a wide variety of performances, conferences and events.
This role would suit someone who is flexible, dependable, has excellent attention to detail, and is comfortable working varied shifts in a busy public venue.
