We're looking for a Mouldmaker to join our Mouldmaking Department. This is a hands-on manufacturing role where you'll be responsible for producing plaster moulds used within our clay manufacturing processes.

Hours of Work
Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 3:30pm
Friday: 7:00am – 1:00pm
Salary
£12.76 per hour.
About the Role
As a Mouldmaker, you'll manufacture plaster moulds using resin and rubber cases, ensuring the correct plaster-to-water ratio is achieved and that all moulds meet quality standards. You'll be responsible for identifying and reporting machine or case issues, recording mould loss and helping to maintain a safe, clean and efficient working environment.
Working within the Mouldmaking Department, you'll play an important role in supporting the production process by supplying high-quality moulds for use across manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities

Produce plaster moulds using the correct plaster-to-water ratio.

Ensure all moulds are stamped with the correct identification mark.

Check moulds meet required quality standards.

Report machine faults or case problems promptly.

Achieve specified daily production targets and accurately record mould loss.

Follow all Health & Safety regulations, Company policies and safe working practices.

Maintain a clean, tidy and safe working area at all times.

Carry out other reasonable duties as required to support the business.
About You
To be successful in this role, you'll:

Have a good standard of English and Maths.

Have at least one year's experience working within a manufacturing environment.

Demonstrate good attendance and timekeeping.

Be willing to work reasonable overtime when required.

Be flexible and willing to support other departments when needed.

Work effectively as part of a team.

Be comfortable receiving instruction and guidance from managers and supervisors.

Have the confidence to identify problems and communicate ideas or suggestions.

Training
You'll receive full on-the-job training, including Manual Handling training and any refresher training required for the role.
