Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Domestic Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within a private home.

Prior experience in janitorial work, hotel housekeeping, or commercial cleaning is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. The position is paid and suitable for individuals who take pride in their work and possess excellent organisational skills.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and communal spaces.
- Dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and polishing surfaces to a high standard
- Change bed linens and organise laundry as required
- Restock supplies such as toiletries and cleaning products
- Maintain organisation of cleaning equipment and ensure all tools are in good working condition
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently to ensure a safe working environment
- Occasionally assist with specialised tasks such as deep cleaning or organising storage areas
Requirements
- Previous experience in janitorial work, hotel housekeeping, or commercial cleaning is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision whilst maintaining attention to detail
- Organised with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently within scheduled timeframes
- Reliable with a good work ethic and punctuality
- Physical fitness to perform cleaning duties which may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
