Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will support medical professionals in delivering high-quality patient care, ensuring smooth clinical operations, and maintaining accurate records. Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and assist with check-in procedures
- Record patient information accurately
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure cleanliness and readiness for consultations
- Assist doctors providers during examinations and procedures
- Manage patient records using IT systems with attention to confidentiality and accuracy
- Provide clear communication to patients regarding treatments, instructions, and follow-up care
- Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing correspondence
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Prior experience or training in IT systems relevant to healthcare settings is preferred
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Compassionate approach with a focus on patient-centred care
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Previous experience in teaching or instructing patients on health-related matters is advantageous
- A recognised qualification as a Medical Assistant or equivalent is desirable but not essential
