Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are noted.
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Ensure tables are cleared promptly and the dining area remains clean and organised.
- Handle guest queries courteously and resolve any issues promptly to ensure a positive experience.
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen duties as needed, adhering to food safety standards.
- Process payments accurately using the POS system and issue receipts.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of menu items, ingredients, and daily specials.
- Uphold cleanliness and hygiene standards in line with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of food safety procedures and basic food preparation is advantageous.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities.
- Good communication skills with a friendly, approachable manner.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods.
- Basic maths skills for handling bills and transactions accurately.
- Experience with guest services, upselling, and creating a welcoming atmosphere is preferred.

Pay: £12.71-£13.00 per hour
