Fashion Designer – Ladieswear
About the Role
We're looking for an experienced, creative Fashion Designer to join our team, working across multiple product areas including jersey and woven fabrics. You'll design for our ladieswear ranges, translating customer briefs into commercial, on-trend collections while also driving your own creative direction across new season ranges.
This is a full-time role suited to a designer who has worked supplier-side within the fashion industry and is confident managing both brief-led design work and independent collection development.
Key Responsibilities
* Design across multiple product categories — **tops, dresses, bottoms, and outerwear** — in both jersey and woven fabrications
* Interpret and deliver against customer briefs accurately and commercially
* Independently research, develop, and design new seasonal ladieswear collections
* Create detailed technical specifications, artwork, and design packs to support the development process
* Work closely with merchandising, technical, and sourcing teams to ensure designs are commercially viable and production-ready
* Stay ahead of market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs within the ladieswear sector
* Attend fittings and fit sessions, working with pattern cutters and technical teams to ensure garments meet brand and customer standards
* Manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously across different product categories and customers
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience as a Fashion Designer, ideally within a supplier or wholesale environment
* Strong design experience across **ladieswear**, with knowledge of both jersey and woven fabric construction
* Experience designing across a range of product categories (tops, dresses, bottoms, outerwear)
* Confident working both from customer briefs and independently to develop original collections
* Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, and commerciality
* Excellent sketching, CAD, and design software skills
* Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple ranges and deadlines at once
* A collaborative team player who also works well independently
* Available for full-time work
