Salary: £25,000–£30,000 depending on experience
Ardgay Game is one of the UK's leading wild venison processors, supplying food manufacturers, wholesalers, foodservice and export customers across the UK and Europe.
We're looking for an organised and reliable Finance Administrator to support the day-to-day running of our finance and office functions.
This is a varied role, working closely with the Finance Manager and wider team to ensure the business remains organised, accurate and well supported.
The role
You'll be responsible for:
- Sales ledger and purchase ledger
- Raising invoices and processing supplier invoices
- Credit control and chasing outstanding payments
- Bank reconciliations
- Processing customer and supplier payments
- Supporting payroll administration
- Assisting with VAT and month-end processes
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- General office administration, including utilities, office supplies and supplier administration
- Supporting the Finance Manager with reporting and other finance tasks
We're looking for someone who
- Is highly organised and accurate
- Has experience in a finance or accounts administration role
- Enjoys working with numbers and solving problems
- Has good Excel and IT skills
- Can prioritise their workload and work independently
- Has excellent communication skills
AAT qualifications or previous finance experience would be an advantage but are not essential.
This is primarily an office-based role in Ardgay. Once established, there may be flexibility for occasional home working by agreement.
